Lance Fialkoff

Principal

Lance Fialkoff was a teacher for 17 years in New York and New Jersey. He graduated summa cum laude from Bates College and has a Master's degree in American History from Rutgers University. Lance taught European and US History, Anthropology, Sociology and Soviet Studies at Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School, Rumson, NJ, 1985-2001, and served as Supervisor of the Social Studies Department at RFH, 1995 – 2001. He was the founding Director of the LEDA Scholars Program and Director of Curriculum for Leadership Enterprise for a Diverse America (2004 – 2007), where he revamped and supervised the highly regarded Aspects of Leadership curriculum. More recently, he was an Educational Technology Resource Specialist for Ulster BOCES, New Paltz, NY. Lance has received awards for innovative teaching, public service and historical scholarship. He is a member of the Wiz Bang Gang, a Jersey Shore band of long standing.
